About the Event
- Breakfast & Chill: Talk Stress Away in the Park is a community wellbeing initiative designed to bring mental health, preventive healthcare, and conversations about wellbeing directly into the community.
- Happening at Taman Wawasan, Puchong, the event brings together more than 30 organisations and over 300 community members, creating a shared space where families, children, caregivers, and older adults could access support, information, and meaningful conversations.
- The initiative is jointly organised by Sunway University, the Board of Counsellors (LKM), Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ), and RE Mental Health Clinic, with contributions from healthcare professionals, community organisations, students, volunteers, and other partners.

A Community Movement
- What began as an idea to bring mental health into the community grew into a collaborative initiative involving organisations, healthcare professionals, NGOs, industry partners, students, sponsors, and volunteers.
- With more than 50 student volunteers from psychology, counselling, medicine, nursing, and allied health backgrounds, the event also provides an opportunity for students to translate their classroom learning into meaningful community engagement.
- At its heart, the event demonstrates that community wellbeing is a shared responsibility — and that meaningful change happens when people and organisations come together with a common purpose.
